Blog Marketing- Your Blog, Your Way

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009
by Clyde Hennings

Having a blog in today’s highly internet-based world is critical to the success of almost any business. Even if a business is supposed to be professional and very technical, blog marketing is still a must. What can blogs do for your business? The better question might be what can’t they do?

A blog is a space where a business can connect to their clients on a personal level. Not only that, but a blog is an ideal place to promote sales and other important events for the business. Blog marketing is an essential tool that allows a business to communicate on the level of the customer. The personalization that goes into a businesses’ blog helps make it unique and possibly unforgettable in the customers’ eye.

Blog marketing is a versatile tool that can be used in many different ways. You can decide to use the blog as a communication forum or as an informative tool or one of many other purposes. With a blog you can communicate without limitations, say whatever you need or want too. You can use the blog to talk more about your business, or about your customers, or you can talk about yourself if you wish. The possibilities are endless and the only limitations are your own creativity.

Many find it difficult to start a blog or learn how to blog so that it makes a difference. Sadly, not everyone will have the time or skill to use blog marketing to the best of its abilities. For those individuals there is help. There are professional marketing services that can provide everything that a business may need for a successful blog.

Blog marketing services can build and maintain blogs for businesses of all kinds. All that you have to do is see what services are available, figure out which ones you want to work with, and then get started on your path to success.

Why a blog? Because a blog is the perfect marketing tool. You can increase traffic, boost your rankings and positions in search results, and get noticed on social book marking sites using keyword density to improve your results. It’s easy, it’s affordable, and it’s instant traffic for your business. What are you waiting for?

Starting a blog can be a huge improvement to any website or online business. While technical websites and detailed, professionally written web content is great for some customers, a blog is a place where ALL people can come together around a business. It doesn’t matter what your business is, because anyone can benefit from blog marketing.

How to Choose Your Wedding Menu

Thursday, November 19th, 2009
by Pamela Kazmierczak

Choosing the perfect wedding menu is a step which should not be overlooked when planning your wedding. Food often plays a big part in social events as well as memories of those events. Because of the importance of the food you should carefully consider what you are serving and how it will be served.

With this in mind you should make sure that you put some time into planning your wedding menu. There are so many choices to make, so where do you begin?

Well the main meal you serve may be the most memorable, so why not start there? The first thing you need to decide is how to serve it. How you serve the meal has a direct affect on what is served. There are three main ways to serve the meal: buffet style, table service, or family style.

The buffet style is pretty popular. It is usually cheaper than the other choices and it allows your guests to have the most flexibility in their food choices. People have the ability to choose to take smaller or larger portions of each dish based upon how much they would like and how hungry they are, instead of making choices months ahead of time.

If you have an ultra formal or elegant wedding you might want to have more traditional meal service. It would be more traditional for the meal to be served to your guests. This would include sending out a main food choice in the wedding invitations, so you guests can choice the main course months ahead of time. At your reception the meals would be brought out by the servers with the main food choice and side dishes already on the plates, with no other choices for your guests to make.

Family service is a third option, although it is not one which is used a lot. Family service is a cross between the other two options. If you choose this method on how to serve your main course, the food will still be brought to the table but instead of each guest having the same amount of food, they will fill their plates from the bowls and plates full of main courses and side dishes laid out on the table. The food will be passed among guests, just like how a family would enjoy a meal at home.

Now that you know how you want your main course served it may be time to think about the appetizer table. Many weddings have appetizer tables set up for their guests, this way they can enjoy a snack during the cocktail hour. These tables are usually stocked with finger foods such as fruit, vegetables, dips, cheese and crackers. Talk to your caterer about what is available and decide what your guests may want to indulge in.

You may want to also have a separate dessert table. Almost all weddings have a wedding cake or cupcakes, but many weddings also offer additional desserts for their guests to enjoy. Some choices for the dessert table may include cookies, brownies, puddings, gelatin, muffins, tart, truffles and more. You can personalize the dessert menu by adding family recipes to the table.

Blogging To The Bank Review

Review of Blogging To The Bank 3.0

By now I think most people in the world know about blogs.

What most don’t know as there is a great income to be made as well for free.

Rob Benwell is only a mere 24 years old and has already made several million dollars. Early in 2006 he shared his secrets with the world in his highly successful Blogging To The Bank ebook and has made making money online a whole lot easier for everyone.

Just over two years after the success of his first book and over 20,000 copies sold of it and the 2007 2.0 update he is now releasing his third version of Blogging to the Bank helping to wet our appetites and keep the fat bucks rolling in.

I got this book as soon as I could and it covers quite a lot of new information and techniques to adapt your blog to the new demands of the major search engines. Many of the techniques in the old book are now dated and don’t work so well. This is why Blogging To The Bank 3.0 is a godsend.

Also this guy doesn’t consider himself to be a “guru”, he’s just a normal guy who wants to help the little guys out. I find this a nice change as he doesn’t talk “down” to you like most of the other guys do. He explains everything in a nice simple manner so everyone can understand.

Saying that when he “goes off on one” it may take a few reads until you get it but when you do it’s just sheer genius. Some of the topics in my opinion could have been covered a little more in depth, but some topics went into great detail.

You also get his 5 Blogging Commandments For 2009 that you must follow to give you blogs the greatest success in 2009 and keep them future proofed. This should be printed out and put on the wall of every online marketer without a doubt! His book starts off with market research (so that you are making the most of your time) to building your blogging empire. Everything is covered in this new outing that helps bloggers with todays online issues regarding making the all mighty search engines happy.

Final Verdict: if you are out in the blogging world and want to learn how people are making money with their blogs then I highly recommend Blogging To The Bank 3.0.

Why work harder than you need to as the new techniques are there ready for you to simply implement.
