Twitter Marketing Secrets You Can “Tweet” About All The Way To The Bank.

It’s no big secret that twitter marketing is a highly effective way to drive tons of targeted traffic to your online business. The main problem with twitter is that all your conversations or “tweets” as they call it must be short and to the point.

Here are five strategies that you can use in your twitter marketing that will grow your business.

* Keep it Real. There’s good reason why this term is so popular today and that’s because it’s so true. People connect with each on twitter to interact and no one wants to interact with an internet marketer trying to pitch every Tom, Dick and Harry product that comes down the pipe. Share your dreams, frustrations and in general be a real person and twitters will love you for it.

* Be Controversial. There’s an old saying that you can’t please everyone all the time so use that to your advantage. Being controversial attracts attention so in your “tweets” be opinionated and it just may surprise you how many followers you gain.

* Tweet about Nothing. Again no one comes to twitter to be sold a product and no one definitely comes to twitter looking for a deal. So instead why not just have some fun, tweet about everything and nothing, just remember to keep it interesting and people will follow what you do.

* Yoda for your thoughts. People are addicted to motivational quotes and positive thinking so use that to gain some attention. Who knows not only will you gain some followers, but you just might make someone day as well.

* Be Cool Man. Twitter marketing shouldn’t always be about marketing. Most people could care less about whatever it is your trying to pitch them when they come to twitter. No one is visiting twitter looking for a deal. Instead people come to post news, funny videos from Youtube and just plain hang out. So when in Rome do as the Romans do, have some fun and be cool.

The whole point behind the article is to get you away from directly thinking about twitter marketing from a traditional marketing point of view because that just doesn’t work. Try it and you’ll quickly find yourself losing all your followers. Instead be a real person, interact with people, have fun and “tweet” about stuff people enjoy. In the end you’ll still gain all the visitors your looking for to your website not because of your tweets but because of who you are.
